Prayer Walking
What’s happening?
God is calling for His people to intercede for mercy in the Baton Rouge/Denham Springs region and is directing us to begin a prayer walking movement. The purpose of prayer walking an area is to shift the spiritual atmosphere of the region. Prayer walks will focus on asking God to release mercy, justice, creativity and righteousness. And we will pray for safety in schools and restoration of families.
When is next walk?
Saturday, November 5, 2011
Location: Denham Springs High School
Time: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Purpose: to pray for the safety of students and faculty, and to pray that God will be real to the youth in our city, state and country.
Start: Jackson St by band room
End with group prayer at 10:45 – front of school by old gym
